Exciting opportunity for an experienced Dispatcher professional to join our talented team!
In this key role, you will be focusing on freight movement, ensuring our freight reaches the right destination in the most effective and safe manner. This diverse role will see you supporting our drivers, coordinating freight deliveries, optimising routes and building strong relationships across the network.
What will you be doing:
- Coordinating daily freight dispatch across the network
- Managing driver performance, schedules, delivery runs, payroll and leave
- Communicating operational issues and updates to key stakeholders
- Creating delivery manifests and job allocations
- Ensuring compliance with transport regulations, safety standards and company procedures
- Supporting fleet servicing schedules and vehicle availability
What will you bring?
- Solid experience ideally within transport, logistics, dispatch or fleet coordination
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Be detail focused with strong problem solving abilities
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in dispatch software or transport systems
- Be customer focused with strong communication skills
- Confident working in a fast paced environment with the ability to remain productive
- A collaborative approach and enjoy working as part of a team
