Night Shift Store Person / Reach Driver
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced store person to join our Takanini based depot as our new Store Person. In this diverse role, you will be working within a Chiller/freezer environment, loading and unloading product, operating a Reach/counterbalance Forklift and ensuring product is stored correctly. You will need to be physically fit as this role involves regular manual handling (up to 20kg). This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 5pm – 5am and every second Sunday 5pm to 5am.
To be successful in this role you will
- Hold a current OSH certificate for reach truck and counterbalance forklift and demonstrate strong operating experience
- Have proven solid store or warehousing experience
- Be comfortable working within a chiller/freezer environment
- Be detail oriented and be confident working to strict deadlines
- Be physically fit, able to safely lift up to 20kg
- Have strong communication skills
- Show initiative, look for opportunities to learn new skills
- Understand the importance of following Health and Safety policies
