Store Person
About the Role
We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced stores person looking to join our close knit team at our Waharoa based depot.
This is a varied role, where you will be responsible for loading and unloading product and ensuring product is stored away correctly. You will be working primarily in a freezer environment therefore we are after someone who is comfortable working within such a cold environment. You will need to be physically fit as this role involves regular manual handling (up to 20kg).
Although these roles are primarily Monday to Friday, we do require candidates with flexibility as there may be overtime available some weekends or and/or public holidays.
Our successful person will
- Have a minimum of two years' experience forklift and reach truck experience
- Demonstrate solid stores or warehousing experience
- Be comfortable working within a freezer environment
- Be detail oriented and be confident working to strict deadlines
- Be physically fit, able to safely lift up to 20kg
- Have strong communication skills
- Show initiative, look for opportunities to learn new skills
- Understand the importance of following Health and Safety policies
