About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Regional Food Safety Business Partner to join our People & Risk team located in our Takanini Head Office and help embed food safety excellence across our transport and storage operations with a focus on our Auckland, Waikato, and Bay of Plenty sites.

 

This is a highly influential role where you’ll partner with operational leaders across multiple sites to translate food safety standards into consistent, practical behaviours. You’ll play a key role in strengthening verification, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement across the region.

You’ll also take the lead on incident support and corrective actions, ensuring issues are managed effectively and improvements are embedded long term.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partner with Site Managers and operational teams to implement food safety standards
  • Deliver coaching, site walkthroughs, and toolbox talks
  • Conduct verification activities and ensure controls are operating effectively
  • Support and lead incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Prepare sites for external audits and ensure audit readiness
  • Maintain regional compliance reporting and identify risk areas
  • Drive consistency and continuous improvement across multiple sites

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in food safety, quality, or compliance in a multi-site environment
  • Strong auditing and verification experience
  • Ability to coach and influence operational teams
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Programmes, Biosecurity, HACCP, GFSI, or similar frameworks
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach
  • Ability to work across multiple sites and stakeholders
